IAH National Groundwater Conference

Tullamore 21-22 April 2009.

(Programme here)

This year's conference focusses on providing essential updates on the
latest developments to Groundwater Regulations and on presenting key
findings from the work carried out with regard to the implementation
of the Water Framework Directive which will govern the forthcoming
Programme of Measures under the Directive.

Further contributions to the conference will present approaches to
sustainable groundwater resource management and a framework for site
assessment of large-scale on-site wastewater treatment systems
discharging to groundwater.  An additional sub-theme of the conference
will be devoted to Karst Hydrogeology, a key hydrogeological
subsurface environment within the Irish Context.

The conference organisers realise that the current economic climate is
putting a strain on Staff Training and CPD resources. To this end, the
conference specifically focusses on providing essential updates,
practical applications and scientific insights into key topics
relevant to today's hydrogeological practice and research.

To register for the Conference please complete and return the
registration form.
Please note that all registration payments (incl. EFTs) must be
received by 15th April 2009.
