DESCRIPTION:The next fieldtrip with the Belfast Geologists Society will be on 17th August 2024 from 10am until 4pm at Glenarm and Carnlough. \nIt will be led by Karen Parks and Mary Watson. Meet at Largy Road carpark North of Carnlough (car park beside the SPAR opposite the harbour)\, 10:00 am. Brief introduction to the area followed by a walk in the area\, returning to the Hub about 12.00 for coffee and tea.\nYou can bring a packed lunch and have it there or opt for ‘eating out’ in Carnlough. After Carnlough the group will go on to Garron Point and then to Glenarm.
