SUMMARY:Belfast Geologists Society trip to Geoenergy Discovery Centre\, Stormont
DESCRIPTION:This event is a visit/guided tour of the Geoenergy Discovery Centre at Stormont followed by a visit to the drilling site on Monday 14th October at 3pm. \nPRE BOOKING is ESSENTIAL. A maximum of 15 people can be accommodated – please email bgsfieldtrips@outlook.com to book your place. \nMeet up 3pm at the GeoEnergy Discovery Centre which is adjacent to the Mo Mowlam Playpark. \nAfter the usual interactive presentation one of their team will walk fieldtrip participants over to the drilling site. \nPlease note that if you are unable to secure a place to visit the GeoEnergy Discovery Centre with the Belfast Geol Soc\, there are ‘drop in’ times advertised on the website – https://geoenergyni.org/demonstrator-projects/#locations – scroll down to GEOENERGY DISCOVERY CENTRE section for times and dates – no booking required.
