SUMMARY:Joint IGA / BGS Excursion
DESCRIPTION:The Irish Geological Association and the British Geological Survey /GSNI will be holding a Weekend Excursion on the 2nd and 3rd August 2025 around the areas of Strangford and Belfast Loughs. \nThe fieldtrip is entitled “Please Mind the Gap – Groundwater Flow through Permo-Triassic rocks of Northern Ireland” and it will be led by Dr Mark Cooper of GSNI. \nMore information on what the field excursion will cover\, an itinerary and a link to the booking form can be found on the IGA website at Irish Geological Association | Welcome to amateurs and professionals!
