DESCRIPTION:IAEG Annual Core Logging Course – is now open for registration! \nThe course will run on Saturday the 18th of October from 09:30 to 16:30 at the Lisheen Core Store.  \nRegister via the website here IAEG – IAEG Logging Course – 2025: \nDo not delay in registering if interested\, places are limited to 30 people. \nThe IAEG Core Logging Course will be hosted by IAEG council members\, with presentations from Miller O’Prey and John Colthurst. \nThis course is suited to Earth Science students and early-career geologists looking for an introduction to the process of core logging. Course contents includes best practices for gathering lithological\, structural and alteration information from core\, mineral estimation\, logistics of core handling and QAQC. \nCourse Fees are €20 for IAEG Members\, €40 for Student Non-Members and €80 for Non-Members.
