SUMMARY:Irish UNESCO Geopark Public Forum
DESCRIPTION:The Irish UNESCO Global Geoparks Network Annual Public Forum will be hosted by the Burren Cliffs of Moher\, UNESCO Global Geopark at Hotel Doolin\, Doolin\, Co. Clare on Wednesday 26th (10am-5pm) and Thursday 27th November (9:30am – 4pm). \nThe theme of this year’s forum is “Natural Capital Unpackaged – How UNESCO Global Geoparks can play a role”. \nThe first day will comprise talks from a range of speakers from GSI\, GSNI\, UNESCO\, Clare County Council and others\, which will be followed by a Fieldtrip on the second day. \nMore information is available from this link Irish Geoparks Forum 2025 Further Information | The Burren and Cliffs of Moher UNESCO Global Geopark

SUMMARY:UCD School of Earth Sciences Seminar Series
DESCRIPTION:Autumn Semester 2025 – These will all be held between 1-2 pm on Wednesdays in E0.61\, O’Brien Science Centre\, with the exception of the final lecture to be held in a larger space (TBC). \nAll talks will also be streamed to Zoom at the recurring meeting link found on the flyer here. \nThere are a variety of Earthly and otherworldly\, applied and fundamental topics for you\, including inaugural lectures from two new SES Staff and a final SES Winter Lecture on planet formation and giant impacts. All are welcome. \nThe zoom link is at the top of the attached flyer and will remain the same every week. \nSave the flyer for future references as there will be no weekly reminders\, unless there is a change to the attached schedule.
