DESCRIPTION:The IAEG’s first Lecture series talk of 2026 will be a PhD seminar.  \nThe PhD seminar will be presented on the Wednesday 4th of February at 7PM online. SUMMARY:Joint Geotechnical Society of Ireland / IGI Seminar
DESCRIPTION:The Geotechnical Society\, co-hosting with the IGI\, will hold their Spring Seminar and AGM on Tuesday 13th May which will include talks from Dr John C. Cripps\, University of Sheffield and Dr Róisín Buckley\, Glasgow University (see draft poster here). \nDr Cripps will give the 23rd Glossop Lecture\, entitled “Mud to Rock and Back” while Dr Buckley’s lecture is entitled “Uncertainty in Site Characterisation: new strategies to mitigate risks and maximise opportunities”. The seminar will be followed by the Geotechnical Society of Ireland’s AGM.

DESCRIPTION:UCC School of Engineering are hosting a seminar on Groundwater Flooding on the Wednesday 19th of March from 12pm-1pm. \nIt will be held as a hybrid event.
