The IGI has recently entered into an agreement with RoGEP, the Register of Ground Engineering Professionals. This register provides external stakeholders, including clients and other professionals, with a means to identify individuals who are suitably qualified and competent in ground engineering.
Joining the register could benefit your career prospects by showing you have specialist ground engineering competences as defined by a growing list of engineering codes and standards.
Professional Members (PGeo) of the IGI can now apply to join the Register of Ground Engineering
Professionals (RoGEP). There are three grades of registration open to PGeos:
- Registered Ground Engineering Professional
- Registered Ground Engineering Specialist
- Registered Ground Engineering Adviser
The register is managed and run through the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE). If you have any enquiries, please email registers@ice.org.uk.
The next application deadlines are: 21st January 2020, 21st April 2020, 21st July 2020, 20th October 2020.
