The Institute of Geologists of Ireland are aiming to establish an Early Career Geoscientists Network within our membership.
The network will provide an opportunity for early career members to come together and discuss various topics and initiatives including:
• Information Sharing
• Support Network
• Identify learning opportunities and training requirements
• Workshops, Professional Development
• Outreach, Community and Education
• Social events and Fieldtrips
The network membership is based on an individual’s experience, as opposed to age, and is open to Student Members, Members-in-Training and Professional Members who are within
3 years of being elected.
If you would like to be part of establishing this network, please contact the office at info@igi.ie before the 31st May.
It is planned that the first meeting will be held online in the middle/end of June.
