The Royal Irish Academy, in partnership with Geological Survey Ireland and the Geological Survey of Northern Ireland, invites you to join a discussion on Ireland’s role in the context of Europe’s critical raw materials agenda and the importance of evidence, research and geoscience data in informing policy decisions.
The event will be held on Monday 5th October 2026 between 17:30 and 20:00 at the Royal Irish Academy, Academy House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2 D02 HH58.
It will bring together experts from government, academia and industry to examine Ireland’s critical raw materials potential, the contribution of the Tellus programme, developments in policy and regulation, and the future opportunities associated with key commodities such as copper.
