Prof. Patrick Wyse Jackson will guide participants through a short walking tour of Dublin city centre on Saturday, 26th September.
There are 2 separate tours at 11am and 2pm, which you can choose from.
The tours will showcase the fascinating and beautiful materials used in our local architecture. They follow not only the geological history of the materials, but also the cultural and architectural importance – along with some great stories about the artisans and craftsmen who delivered Dublin’s architectural uniqueness.
