Belfast Geologists Society – their final talk of the 2024/2025 lecture series will be held next Monday, 19th May 2025 as a hybrid event, both in-person (at QUB Geography Dept, Elmwood Avenue, Belfast) and on Zoom.
The lecture is the 2025 Harold Wilson Memorial Lecture and is entitled “The mining heritage of County Antrim and its legacy”.
It will be given by Kieran Parker, British Geological Survey (GSNI). Senior Geohazards Geologist.
The talk will be preceded by an opportunity to visit the 3D Mapping facility also in the Geography Department with Connor Graham, Centre for GIS and Geomatics, QUB
