The annual joint talk between the Irish Geological Association (IGA), the Galway Geologists Association (GGA) and the CGA (Cork Geologists Association) takes place next Wednesday, 24th January between 19:00 and 20:00.
It will be held in-person in M4 in TCD Museum Building and will also be streamed live via Zoom.
The talk is entitled “From Seafloor Methane to Continental Flooding: Understanding the Palaeocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum and Global Climate Change” and will be given by Professor Gerald ‘Jerry’ Dickens of TCD.
